A delightful event during which pastry chefs create delicious pastries and delicacies to share with cake lovers at the stands. Conferences and meetups also take place during the event.
This event gathers Spilimbergo’s best pastry chefs. It takes place over a weekend in Autumn, in the lead-up to Christmas. During the event, Piazza San Rocco becomes the sweetest corner of the city of mosaics: stands with flour, sweets and pastries made by the companies of the Tipicamente Spilimberghese brand, cutting the mega cake in the square, and workshops where children can learn to appreciate natural local products.
The 2017 edition featured the presentation of Dolcemosaico, a creation of master pastry chefs Sandro Castellani (Pasticceria Castellani), Stefano Giordani (Giordani Mario Panificio Pasticceria), Luigi Merluzzi (Pasticceria Corso Roma), Alberto Piccolo (Le Strane Delizie), and Stefano Venier (Gelateria Venier Arte Dolce) in collaboration with artist Giulio Candussio. A tribute to the delicious traditions of the city of mosaics.
